Reiki Healing

Sessions of Reiki can be used beneficially for stress management, an increased sense of well-being, relaxation or to support the body’s healing system. 

As humans we live at many different levels simultaneously – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual (our essence level).  Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a Japanese word that means “Universal Energy” – referring to the Universal Life-Force that permeates all living matter, including human beings.

In a session of Reiki healing, the practitioner’s role is to focus on that Universal Energy and act as a channel for it, passing it on to the person receiving the healing.  The energy is taken in and travels to wherever it is most needed, boosting the person’s own healing life-force.

It is a little like ‘plugging in’ to a circuit and ‘re-charging batteries’ except that what is received is a subtle energy that replenishes and balances the recipient’s energy system.  Sessions of Reiki accelerate the body’s ability to heal physical and non-physical ailments, gently opening a person’s being to the causes of disease and pain, and then providing a means of healing these at a deep level.

The client receives the Reiki healing fully clothed, lying comfortably on a couch. After a session, a person will often feel calm, relaxed and with a greater sense of wellness.

How many sessions will I need? 

This depends on a range of different factors including the individual’s own body-healing system, the issue currently being worked on etc. and can be discussed on the phone, via email or at the session itself.

Fee: £60 full Reiki session.
